An internal platform engineering effort focused on turning GitLab and Kubernetes delivery into a self-service, fully version-controlled process. The work spans infrastructure-as-code for GitLab itself, a release pipeline that packages container images and Helm charts, and a GitOps layer that keeps AWS EKS and OpenShift clusters continuously in sync with what's declared in Git.
Key Contributions
- Provisioned and managed GitLab infrastructure as code with Terraform, defining groups, projects and settings for consistent, repeatable configuration across teams.
- Built an end-to-end release pipeline producing container image releases and Helm chart releases for deployment to both AWS EKS and OpenShift clusters.
- Implemented GitOps continuous deployment with Argo CD, automatically syncing Helm releases onto the clusters from Git.
